Our story

Balochi embroidery for everyday wardrobes

MK Balure began on Instagram in April 2025, where you may know us as Malek Taj.

We started it to share pieces that blend Balochi culture with a modern, chic cut, and to bring this beautiful craft into wardrobes around the world.

Doch, a craft passed from mother to daughter

In Balochi, embroidery is called doch. It is traditionally the work of Baloch women, and the skill is passed down from mother to daughter. Our pieces celebrate the artistry of Iranian Baloch women.

We are proud to make a space where the hands and art of Balochi women are seen.

One of a kind, by design

Made by hand, made to be worn

Made by hand

Everything we make is handmade, from vests and crop tops to linen pieces, earrings, cuffs and belts.

Made only once

Most of our designs are made only once, so when a vest is gone, it is gone.

Made to fit

Our vests are free size, and some have side ties so you can adjust the fit.
